Meet The Council
President
Nancy Lynch
The President acts as Chief Executive Officer of the Council, establishes and maintains the organizational vision and ensures continued viability of the organization. The President serves as an ambassador for TBHSI by communicating with community leaders and local businesses. The President and the Council are privy to all decisions regarding presentations that members participate in.
Vice President
Marguerite Topping
The Vice President performs all duties of the President during the absence of the latter. The Vice-President’s additional duties include: advise on potential areas of expansion or reduction of scope on the organization’s activities, ensure proper vetting of all existing and potential members, investigate and provide information on any charity under review for sponsorship by the organization, and advise the Council on situations where outside professional expertise may be required or advisable.
Secretary
Jennifer Martin
The Secretary attends all Council meetings and all posted meetings of Active members, records all Council and Active Member meeting notes; executes business entity reports as may be required by local, state, or federal government; and manages notes recorded by any designee at special committee meetings or other meetings as approved by the Council.
Treasurer
Kate Bathon Shufeldt
The Treasurer shall function as primary signatory on all financial accounts; provide monthly updates to Council on status of accounts; collect dues; distribute expense and charity funds; execute tax forms as required by local, state, and federal government; maintain online payment systems; present finances to members at the Active Member Annual Meeting; and develop and maintain an annual budget.
Public Relations Coordinator

The Public Relations Coordinator manages the public image of the group on all externally viewable social networking and media, including the website; develops marketing and advertising strategy and materials for TBHSHI group fundraising, education, or any public awareness event; works with outside vendors on sales, marketing, or educational materials; develops, maintains, and disseminates to the membership all brand image guidance.
Membership Coordinator
Emily Wheeler
The Membership Coordinator maintains internal social media files and notices so current members are aware of changes in rules and regulations; ascertains that members sign the required annual liability waiver and membership agreement; teams with a second council member to vet prospective members; determines that new members have received a welcome and a TBHSHI mentor; contacts prospective new members and notifies them of membership status; works with council to update rules regarding membership, maintains membership rolls, and verifies with Treasurer the voting status of members based on participation and dues status.
Performance Coordinator

The Performance Coordinator manages all members who host in costume public TBHSI events and appearances. Performance Coordinator oversees and determines committee appointments to organize all TBHSI Council sanctioned public events attended. This includes all performance and public appearance postings on social media events page. Performance Coordinator keeps in contact with member event hosts to ensure requirements are met for witches to attend and perform. Member hosts of public events coordinate paperwork, applications, payment, and provide group communications to Performance Coordinator for all TBHSI performance events requiring such. The Performance Coordinator is also responsible for reviewing music selections for performances to ensure they do not contain offensive language.
Camaraderie Coordinator

The Camaraderie Coordinator manages official TBHSI internal gatherings that are posted on social media events page including classes, entertainments, and official witchy repartee. Camaraderie Coordinator posts such events and maintains contact with hosts of these gatherings and communicates to the council any issues perceived with proposed events for review and approval. Camaraderie Coordinator keeps in contact with member hosts to ensure requirements are met for witches to attend and have necessary information. Hosts coordinate any paperwork or applications, event site management, and ensure Camaraderie Coordinator receives any payments, and provides information to Camaraderie Coordinator for group postings for private TBHSI gatherings requiring such.
Member-At-Large

The Member-at-Large provides a voice of the Active Members and the local community on the Council. At all times the number of Members-At-Large active on the Council shall be sufficient to result in an odd number of members of the Council. MembersAt-Large may be asked to chair any Special Committee formed by the Council, and to perform duties not specifically assigned to other Council Members within these Bylaws. The Member-at-Large is responsible to bring member concerns before the Council and ensure the overall vision and quality of the organization are maintained.
